NEW VETERINARIAN JOINS PALMER VETERINARY CLINIC
Please welcome Dr. Dallas Maxwell to our practice. Dr. Maxwell joined Palmer Veterinary Clinic in July, 2006. He was born and raised in New Brunswick, Canada. He grew up on a small woodlot and 'always had pet dogs and horses. Through high school he began working on a neighbor's dairy farm where he became interested in cattle. He completed a BSc. in Biology at the University of New Brunswick in 2001, and then went on to the Atlantic Veterinary College. During summers while at Vet College, Dr. Maxwell worked in Saskatchewan on a 3000 head back grounding feedlot that also had another 1000 mother cows. There he was introduced to the Beef industry and honed his riding skills. In 2005 he graduated from Atlantic Veterinary College with his DVM. For the past year he has worked as a mixed animal veterinarian at West Prince Veterinary Services, in Prince Edward Island, Canada. At Palmer Veterinary Clinic he will be working primarily as a large animal practitioner. He is now living in Chazy with his wife Patty and they currently have a couple of horses, a dog, and two cats.
